For anyone reading though, please ask your financial advisor/financial planner if they are a fiduciary, this means they are legally required to act in your BEST INTEREST. There are many advisors who recommend certain products because they will receive commission for selling it. It doesn't mean their recommendation isn't good, it just means it's biased and there might have been better options.
